Get the best email notifications for Facebook

TheFriendMail can replace the standard email notifications that Facebook sends with super-charged emails that notify you about likes, comments, and other activities. Create a Notifications Alert and receive rich email notifications that look and behave just like your news feed. You can get multiple notifications in a single email and create your own schedules. The best part is that you can easily "mute" topics that you no longer want to be notified about! Create a Notifications Alert by signing in to your TheFriendMail account and navigating to the Alerts tab. Please note that you might want to disable your existing email notifications in your Facebook settings.

Receive email alerts for birthdays

The Birthday Alert by TheFriendMail is the easiest way to keep up with friends' birthdays! TheFriendMail will send you an email on your friend's birthday that allows you to easily write on your friend's wall and see what other people have already written. Create a Birthday Alert by signing in to your TheFriendMail account and navigating to the Alerts tab.

Get your news feed delivered to your inbox

The News Feed Alert by TheFriendMail is the most convenient way to keep up with what your friends are saying on Facebook. You can set up your own schedules and even choose to receive your news feed at specific times during the day. The alert emails look just like your real news feed and you can "like" and comment without leaving your inbox! Create a News Feed Alert by signing in to your TheFriendMail account and navigating to the Alerts tab.

Did you know?

  • When posting on a friend's wall (wall@thefriendmail.com) or requesting a friend's profile (profile@thefriendmail.com), you can specify your friend's first, last, or full name in the subject line. TheFriendMail will automatically locate your friend and, if you have multiple friends with the same name, will notify you to select the right person.
  • TheFriendMail can automatically ignore text included at the end of your emails (known as your email signature). Sign in to your TheFriendMail account, click on the settings link for your email address, and add the first portion of your signature in the Email Signature field.
  • TheFriendMail fully supports international characters. Just make sure your email client is configured to use UTF-8 character encoding.
